The Stitch Wit Marketplace pre-approves all vendor accounts and products to ensure there is no copyright violations with patterns or products already sold in the Stitch Wit Shop or Marketplace.

No. Vendors can list as many items as they would like on their shop.

While shoppers will see prices in their local currency, Stitch Wit is a Canadian owned and operated business so all products should be priced in Canadian funds.

While this is manually done by our team, we do strive to approve and activate all products within 24 hours.

Images are for the product photos on the product page. Media is for digital products such as PDF Patterns and is where you upload the pattern. Customers are emailed a copy of the digital products at the time of purchase.

Currently to run a sale you need to manually change the Price and Compare Price on the product page. The Compare Price is the original retail price and the Price is the sale price. When a sale ends, you will need to put the original retail price back in Price and enter 0 in Compare Price.

We hope to be able to add a sale scheduling feature in the future.

No. All Stitch Wit Shop sales and promotions are only applied to Stitch Wit products.

At this time, we cannot offer real-time shipping in the checkout process so it must remain the same throughout the Shop and Marketplace. All vendors must follow the same shipping policy of orders over $20CAD get free shipping and orders under $20CAD are charged a $7CAD shipping and handling fee. It may be necessary the cost of shipping to be added product prices.

As Stitch Wit Marketplace is new and growing, we hope to expand on our features to our vendors in the future.

For orders under $20CAD customers are charged a $7CAD shipping and handling fee. This fee is forwarded to the vendor of the product sold. If the order includes products from various vendors the $7CAD fee is equally distributed among the vendors.

For products over $20CAD: Weigh your product with the packaging you will send it in. With your package weight and dimensions, check with your shipping provider and see what the average cost to ship it around your country is. Add this total to the cost of your product. We highly suggest shipping your products via standard letter mail if the size and dimensions of your package allow it.

For products under $20CAD: If you know your product would cost less than $7CAD to ship, then do not add any shipping costs to the price of your product.

If the customer contact Stitch Wit with a question or issue regarding your shop, an order or one of your products we will email you the information and work with both you and the customer.

Payouts are sent via PayPal every Tuesday. They are based on the previous week sales. All payouts are paid in Canadian dollars.

Commission is applied on the product level.
Calculation Example: Total: $100, Commission: 18% | Commission = ($100 - (100 * 0.18)) = $18 | Payout = ($100 - $18) = $82

There are no refunds on any digital products.

If a customer has an issue with a product they received we will work with them and the vendor to find and appropriate resolution.

If a refund is required, the customer will be issued the refund from Stitch Wit and the amount will be deducted from the vendor's next payout.
