Hello stitcher! I'm Heather, the main Stitch Wit behind all of this. I live in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I have been cross stitching on and off since I was a kid, but about 5-6 years ago I picked it up again and haven't put it down since.

The business started when I wanted to create my own cross stitch patterns. The creativity started to flow and before I knew it, I had almost 50 designs! Then...COVID-19 happened and I ended up with a lot of time on my hands, so I decided to put my web design, graphic design, business experience and love for cross stitching all together and created Stitch Wit.

Over the last 4 years the business has grown to not just me, but is now a family business. My husband, daughter and in-laws all pitch in to help Stitch Wit grow and I couldn't be more grateful!

After being approached by a few customers who create amazing products, we decided to open our shop to artisans in the needlework community. Our shop is now open for vendors who sell their own cross stitch patterns, kits, and other stitchy goodies.

With our new platform, artisans will have the opportunity to showcase their unique products to a dedicated needlework community.
