About Heather
Heather has been stitching since childhood and has dedicated herself to the craft almost daily for the last 10 years. She learned to stitch from her mother, a skill she now treasures. As a wife and mother herself, Heather was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario. She's a self-described homebody who finds joy in stitching while watching true crime documentaries and nostalgic sitcoms. Her pattern design style features bold, striking designs that cleverly use the fabric as negative space, with most pieces designed at the beginner to intermediate level to ensure they're accessible and enjoyable for stitchers of all experience levels.
About Stitch Wit
Stitch Wit was founded in 2019 as an online cross-stitch supply shop. In 2025, we made the decision to focus exclusively on our own Stitch Wit products—patterns, kits, project bags, and needle minders. Today, our collection includes over 200 patterns and kits designed with care and creativity. As of 2026, we've expanded into wholesale, making our products available in local needlework shops across Canada and the US, as well as on popular online retailers like 123stitch.com.
