Hello fellow cross stitcher! I'm Heather, the main Stitch Wit behind all of this. I live in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

I have been cross stitching on and off since I was a kid, but about four years ago I picked it up again and haven't put it down since. In this time, I wanted to create my own cross stitch patterns (I have studied graphic design in the past, so merging the two just made sense). The creativity started to flow and before I knew it, I had almost 50 designs!

Then...COVID-19 happened and I ended up with a lot of time on my hands, so I decided to put my web and graphic design, business skills and love for cross stitching all use and created Stitch Wit. And Voila! Here we are.

I am a big fan of anything that makes me laugh. Stand up comedy, sitcoms, dad jokes, puns, play on words....funny things in general. So you'll find that most of my designs should at least make you smile. I also love to stitch (and therefore design) seasonal and holiday patterns.
